About the Band
The Lake Area Community Band is a concert band based in Syracuse, Indiana. The ensemble performs regular concerts throughout the spring and summer, and features traditional concert band arrangements including marches, jazz standards, sound tracks from well-known and beloved movie themes as well as current and past pop favorites.

Membership in the band is open to all ages, 18 years and above. Many of our members have pulled their instruments out of storage after years or even decades of disuse and joined the band. What about you? Interested in playing? Dust off those chops, pick up your instrument and join us.
